Parm AG Receives ISO 27018 Certification for the Protection of Personal Data in the Cloud
The protection of sensitive data is a top priority for Parm AG. To further underscore this commitment, we have expanded our information security management system to include ISO/IEC 27018 certification.
With this internationally recognized standard, we meet additional requirements for the protection of personal data processed in cloud environments. For our customers, this means greater transparency, data protection, and trust.
What is ISO 27018?
ISO/IEC 27018 is the globally recognized standard for the protection of personally identifiable information (PII) in public cloud services. It supplements the ISO/IEC 27001 standard with specific data protection requirements for cloud service providers and organizations that process personal data in the cloud.
Among other things, the certification defines measures for:
- the responsible handling of personal data,
- transparent data processing procedures,
- clear rules regarding the deletion and return of data,
- protection against unauthorized access, and
- compliance with applicable data protection requirements.
