Il s'agit donc d'une technique de planification pour les projets dans lesquels le chef de projet ne dispose pas de toutes les informations n\u00e9cessaires pour d\u00e9finir un plan complet \u00e0 l'avance.<br \/>Le projet ne commence pas pour autant sans plan. Au contraire, il commence par une structure de d\u00e9composition du travail qui divise le projet en sous-projets, phases, lots de travaux et t\u00e2ches. Ce plan \u00e9volue au fur et \u00e0 mesure que les d\u00e9tails deviennent plus clairs. Il existe diff\u00e9rents types de planification, en fonction du niveau de d\u00e9tail et de la proximit\u00e9 dans le temps :    <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Planification \u00e0 long terme :<\/strong> un plan de projet g\u00e9n\u00e9ral est d'abord \u00e9tabli pour l'ensemble du projet. L'accent est mis sur les \u00e9tapes, les phases principales et les objectifs strat\u00e9giques. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Planification \u00e0 moyen terme :<\/strong> \u00e0 l'approche des phases du projet, les activit\u00e9s sont planifi\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re plus d\u00e9taill\u00e9e, y compris les besoins en ressources, les d\u00e9pendances et l'\u00e9valuation des risques.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Planification \u00e0 court terme :<\/strong> les dossiers de travail imminents, y compris les calendriers, les responsabilit\u00e9s et les crit\u00e8res d'acceptation, sont imm\u00e9diatement planifi\u00e9s en d\u00e9tail. Cette planification \u00e0 court terme constitue la premi\u00e8re vague. Si la mise en \u0153uvre de cette vague commence, le chef de projet doit commencer \u00e0 planifier la vague suivante de mani\u00e8re plus d\u00e9taill\u00e9e afin de r\u00e9duire les incertitudes dans les phases ult\u00e9rieures du projet.  <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>L'id\u00e9e centrale est que plus une t\u00e2che ou une phase est proche, plus elle est planifi\u00e9e avec pr\u00e9cision. Des fen\u00eatres de temps approximatives sont d\u00e9finies pour les diff\u00e9rentes vagues du projet. On identifie \u00e9galement les d\u00e9pendances qui doivent \u00eatre imm\u00e9diatement planifi\u00e9es en d\u00e9tail afin de ne pas risquer de retards par la suite.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>Priorisation des vagues :<\/strong><br \/>Les t\u00e2ches \u00e0 forte incertitude ou \u00e0 forte d\u00e9pendance sont planifi\u00e9es en d\u00e9tail plus tard. En revanche, les t\u00e2ches qui doivent \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9es rapidement, qui ont des exigences claires ou qui sont tr\u00e8s pertinentes en termes de risque sont planifi\u00e9es en d\u00e9tail imm\u00e9diatement. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Mise \u00e0 jour continue :<\/strong><br \/>Des revues r\u00e9guli\u00e8res (par exemple dans le cadre de Milestone ou de Phase Gates) garantissent que les nouvelles informations sont imm\u00e9diatement int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans le plan. Ainsi, les calendriers, les ressources et les risques sont constamment ajust\u00e9s. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Documentation :<\/strong><br \/>Un plan de projet dynamique documente les t\u00e2ches d\u00e9taill\u00e9es \u00e0 court terme et les \u00e9tapes approximatives \u00e0 long terme. Au contraire, il s'agit d'une m\u00e9thode qui reconna\u00eet que les connaissances se d\u00e9veloppent au fil du projet. Et plut\u00f4t que de s'attacher d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part \u00e0 des d\u00e9tails bancals, il vaut mieux miser sur un plan qui peut respirer. Cela permet de g\u00e9rer efficacement les projets, m\u00eame dans l'incertitude, et de planifier le projet de mani\u00e8re r\u00e9aliste, it\u00e9rative et flexible, sans perdre le contr\u00f4le.
